On Saturday, November 25 2023, the Ogima Awards announced that Daniel won the Multi Music Disciplinary Award of the Ogima Awards 2023.

On Wednesday, May 24 2023, LA-based music blog The Punkhead published an review about Out of Shadows and an interview with Daniel about his influences and inspirations.

After an intensive 10-day working period with ultimate bomber @shakthi.kt the sun is finally out. In little over a year I went to Berlin four times with the goal to create music for my next EP together and we are nearing the end result. I’m so excited about what it’s becoming and can’t wait to share more 🙏

My song Fly Away received another nomination: out of 15,000 entries it got to the semi-finals of the 2023 @intlsongcomp! Wow, thank you for the recognition 💪

The past six weeks I spent playing music with this great, fun and highly adaptable band. I am going back to the Netherlands a little earlier than expected, but feeling very grateful for the experience, the people I met and the Miami sun. Until next time!

Celebrating one year since the exclusive release with @rollingstonein of the music video for my song Fly Away! Since then the video, directed by @jepjorba, starring @siggymarley, has garnered over 50K views on YouTube!

What an honor to receive the Multi Disciplinary Excellence Award from @ogima_musicawards for my project! Special thanks to all the musicians that play on my debut album ‘Out of Shadows’ and to producer @shakthi.kt for his work on the album. He helped me blend musical styles from all corners of the world and together we managed to turn all the influences into a cohesive pop sound.
